Team Leader

Shola Carew
Adeshola Carew, also known as (Shola) is a woman of vision whom the Lord has used to bring to birth Apple of His Eyes Ministries. She was inspired by the Holy Spirit to care and support widows and widowers who have no help or support in meeting their needs after the death of their loved ones. The ministry vision is based on 1 Timothy 5:3 & 5. "Give proper recognition to those widows who are really in need...The widow who is really in need and left all alone puts her hope in God and continues night and day to pray and to ask God for help."
The ministry also supports single parents by providing for and training their children.
She loves the Lord with passion and is committed to the vision of ensuring that widows/widowers are self-dependent by establishing in trade, farming and education with the help of God and support from all nations. She is married to Pastor Kolawole Carew and has three lovely children who are all in the service of God's kingdom.
Ministry Coordinators

Christiana Walker
Christiana Walker is a Registered Nurse and a mother of three. She is a kind hearted child of God who is beautifully and wonderfully made. She loves the Lord and loves to work for the Lord. She believes she can "do all things through Jesus Christ who gives her strength" Philippians 4:13.

Bola Okubanjo
Bola is a mother and a child of God. She enjoys meeting people and learning about their life and stories. She believes in giving especially to widows and orphans because the bible says “religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world” James 1:27. While growing up in rural Nigeria, she experienced how widows are abandoned and their children neglected. This is because many widows are not empowered to take care of their family after the demise of their spouses. She is able to make a difference in the lives of widows while working with the Apple of His Eyes Ministries.

Richard Kinga
Richard Kinga came in contact with the ministry in 2016 and he liaises with the ministry operations in Cameroon. He supports the ministry because it targets widows who are part of the most vulnerable in the society. He also believes that widows occupy a very important place in the mind of God. The ministry has embarked many projects in Cameroon. Due to limited resources, the ministry is currently supporting 10 widows in Cameroon but hopes to increase the number soon.
